True or False

It's amazing how quickly the days pass here in Nairobi.  It's almost as if someone pushed fast forward and no one caught it so we just carry on. At times, hours can literally feel like moments.

Occasionally, however, this rapid cycle is interrupted.  This usually takes place when my attention is brought to something that is unexplainable.  My soul begins to filter and process as I search for answers.  Its times like these that moments seem to turn into hours.   Here is an example.

This is a multi billion shilling church being constructed on top of a slum.  Yes you are seeing that correctly- human beings digging through trash in search of something to eat.  I was told that upon the completion of this church, the prosperity gospel will be preached to these slum dwellers increasing the divide between the rich and the poor.

T or F -You cannot abolish poverty unless you also abolish affluence.

  1. First of all....WOW! my heart BREAKS for these people.

Secondly, why the prosperity gospel!? These people need solid doctrine and TRUTH, which causes my heart to break even more.

    Thanks for sharing though.

Its a tragedy when Affluence and Influence can sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly miss, what is truly good.
